MONACO

From the multi-million pound yachts glinting in Monte Carlo harbour,
to the endless flow of golden champagne,
Monaco oozes privilege.
It is a tiny independent city-state on France's Mediterranean coastline known
for its upscale casinos, yacht-lined harbour and prestigious
Grand Prix motor race, which runs through
Monaco's streets once a year.

Monaco is the second smallest country after Vatican and its citizens famously
don't have to pay taxes, which has partly made it an attractive
place to live for some of the world's richest people.

Away from the glamour, Monaco's balmy climate and seaside location make
it a naturally beautiful place to visit. You can enjoy scenic walking
routes along pretty costal bays, and stop for a drink
at many al fresco cafes.
The French Riviera and Italy are within easy reach as well.

And what better place for a girl's trip then Monaco,
one of the most extravagant cities in the world which got even more beautiful
thanks to my hubby-photographer.
Monaco is a favourite location for lovers of Casino gaming.

I just love the orange trees in the streets of Monte Carlo.
Whether for marmalade or to make orange wine, this fruit is being given away
free of charge at the moment, as these bitter oranges are abundant in the
Principality, and are typical of the region.
Envious of these posh, elegant and chic houses in Monte-Carlo.

We took the train from Nice, France to Monaco and it only takes 20 minutes to get there.
Return ticket costs €15.60 for 2 adults. Not that bad at all.
How lucky I am to have a husband who is my travel buddy and as well as
my personal photographer/videographer.

Here's a video of our French Riviera and Monaco Trip. Enjoy!
